Eligibility, Admission Criteria and Selection Process

Any candidate with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline with 50% or more marks is eligible to apply for the program.
Final year students may also apply, subject to them fulfilling the eligibility criteria by the time of batch commencement.
An eligible candidate is required to take any of the CAT 2024 / XAT 2025 / GMAT 2020 onwards, and score a minimum of 60 percentile (or equivalent), to be able to get shortlisted for the Admission Selection Process (ASP).

Admission Selection Process (ASP)

JAGSoM looks at innovation potential, solution orientation and value fit of the candidates, besides their consistent academic performance and relevant work experience (if applicable), for admission into its PGDM General program. Short-listed candidates for programs at JAGSoM are required to appear for the selection process, which comprises of the following components:

Psychometric Test Application

Psychometric Test: Assesses individual strengths and suitability for business studies, providing a Psychometric Profile.

ASP Registration and Briefing

Registration: Managed by student volunteers who collect necessary documents.

Verification: Staff verifies self-attested documents against the application.

Briefing: Candidates receive information about the admission process and can ask questions before the PI.

3.

Personal Interview (PI)

Panel Composition: Includes a faculty member, an industry professional, and an alumnus.

Program – Scholarships

Scholarship Application : Candidates must submit the JAGSoM Scholarship Application Form with relevant documents for their chosen category.
Selection Process : Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of merit, financial need, and eligibility, as evaluated by the JAGSoM Scholarship Committee.
Adjustment and Renewal : Scholarships apply to the last installment of tuition fees for the first academic year and may be renewed annually, contingent on academic performance, participation in co-curricular activities, and exemplary conduct.

How and where do I appear for the selection process?

We will be conducting the entire selection process over virtual mode. The process would comprise or 3 rounds i.e. Innovation Potential Test, Group Exercise, & Personal Interview. When do I get to know my selection result?

It’s a rolling process. The results will be announced within 2 days of the process. Hence it is important to accept the offer early to avoid losing your admission.

When do I need to block my seat?

Post selection process the seat needs to be blocked within the stipulated time as mentioned in your offer letter.

When the fee has to be paid?

The program fee needs to be cleared as per the fee schedule. The registration fees needs to be paid immediately on acceptance of the offer.

Do you offer Scholarship?

JAGSoM offers merit scholarships in the form of tuition fee waiver. The scholarship would be adjusted in the last payable installment as per the fees schedule.

What is JAGMAT?

JAGMAT is an aptitude test and comprises of 3 sections, which are English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Logical Reasoning (LR). Each section will be of 25 marks summing to 75 marks. There will not be any negative marking. Duration of the test will be 90 minutes.

What is the cut-off for JAGMAT?

The cut-off for JAGMAT exam is 50% to secure an early admission at JAGSoM.
