About JAGSoM MBA
The MBA General at JAGSoM, conducted at the Vijaybhoomi campus in Greater Mumbai, is a comprehensive two-year, full-time, residential program that offers specialization pathways in areas like Branding & Advertising and Data Science & Business Analytics. The program is structured to develop leaders who can thrive in dynamic business environments and leverage global opportunities through potential international immersion.
- Interdisciplinary Learning: The program integrates knowledge across business functions with specialization options to build deep expertise.
- Flexible Specializations: Students can choose electives in their second year, tailoring their MBA experience to specific career goals. Option to pursue MBA in Branding and Advertising or DS/BA at JAGSoM’s Greater Mumbai campus and PGDM Marketing, PGDM Finance, PGDM Data Science and Business Analytics from JAGSoM’s Bangalore Campus in the second year.
- Industry Engagement: Strong focus on experiential learning, industry internships, and projects with local and international firms.
- International Pathway: After one year of course work at JAGSoM, opportunity to complete the program abroad and work there.

Eligibility, Admission Criteria, Selection Process & Program Fee
Eligibility
- Any candidate with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline with 50% or more marks is eligible to apply for the program.
- Final year students may also apply, subject to them fulfilling the eligibility criteria by the time of batch commencement.
- An eligible candidate is required to take any of the CAT/XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT ( 2020 onwards), ATMA, PGCET or JAGMAT, and score a minimum of 60 percentile (or equivalent), to be able to get shortlisted for the Admission Selection Process (ASP)
Admission Selection Process (ASP)
JAGSoM looks at innovation potential, solution orientation and value fit of the candidates, besides their consistent academic performance and relevant work experience (if applicable), for admission into its PGDM General program. Short-listed candidates for programs at JAGSoM are required to appear for the selection process, which comprises of the following components:

The ASP across programs comprises the following steps, except that the PGDM General applicants are not required to appear for JAGMAT
Candidates submit an application form and fee
Psychometric Test: Assesses individual strengths and suitability for business studies, providing a Psychometric Profile
Registration: Managed by student volunteers who collect necessary documents.
Verification: Staff verifies self-attested documents against the application.
Briefing: Candidates receive information about the admission process and can ask questions before the PI.
Panel Composition: Includes a faculty member, an industry professional, and an alumnus.
