The JAGSoM PGDM is a 104-credit, AICTE-approved program offered in Bengaluru and recognised by AIU as equivalent to an MBA. The JAGSoM MBA is a university MBA degree offered at Vijaybhoomi University in Greater Mumbai. It provides a more multidisciplinary learning environment and greater flexibility in academic and Year-2 pathways.
Yes. JAGSoM’s Bengaluru PGDM is AICTE approved and recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, or AIU, as equivalent to an MBA.
The PGDM is well suited to fresh graduates and early-career professionals who want a rigorous, practice-led management program with depth across Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics and Human Resources. It is particularly relevant for students who value close industry access in Bengaluru.
The MBA is suited to students who want management education within a multidisciplinary university environment. It is particularly relevant for students interested in combining business learning with areas such as technology, analytics, design, branding and innovation, or those looking for flexible Year-2 pathway options.
The Bengaluru PGDM is a 104-credit management program.

The JAGSoM PGDM currently offers academic depth across four areas:

The JAGSoM MBA combines core management education with multidisciplinary exposure to technology, analytics, design and innovation. Current academic pathways include Branding & Advertising and Data Science & Business Analytics, with additional Year-2 options depending on the approved international pathway for the intake.
AI is integrated into management learning rather than being treated only as a standalone elective.
Current AI-linked learning includes:

Students also work with digital business tools and simulations.
Learning resources currently available include Bloomberg, Harvard Business Review, getsettowork.ai and HBR Business Simulation. The objective is to give students practical exposure to tools used for analysis, decision-making and business learning.
JAGSoM follows a practice-led learning model(Learning-by-doing). Classroom learning is combined with internships, simulations, cases, capstones, mentoring, research, social immersion and student-led activities. The aim is to help students demonstrate what they can do, not only what they know.
Assessment is designed around both academic understanding and application. Depending on the course, students may be evaluated through examinations, assignments, projects, simulations, presentations, group work and applied learning activities. Most importantly, interventions like Personality Development, Social Immersion and Internship are credited in order to make education holistic.
The MBA program architecture may include approved Year-2 pathways through JAGSoM Bengaluru in selected academic areas. The exact options available for each intake are communicated before students make their pathway choice. Please inquire with the Admissions Team.
Yes. The PGDM combines a common management core with a large elective pool across Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics and Human Resources. This allows students to build deeper capability in areas aligned with their interests through selective Majors and Minors.
The approved fee for the JAGSoM PGDM is ₹17,50,000. The fee includes boarding and lodging. The approved payment structure is:
· Registration: ₹1,00,000
· First instalment: ₹6,00,000
· Second instalment: ₹5,25,000
· Third and final instalment: ₹5,25,00
The approved fee for the JAGSoM PGDM is ₹14,00,000. The hostel fee is an additional ₹1,50,000.
Applicants to the JAGSoM PGDM must have a recognised undergraduate degree through a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pathway.
The current minimum is:
· 50% aggregate for general-category applicants
· 45% aggregate for reserved-category applicants
Final-year undergraduate students may also offapply.
Applicants to the JAGSoM MBA must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Final-year undergraduate students may also apply, subject to completing the required degree and eligibility conditions.
Yes. Students from Commerce, Engineering, Science, Arts, BBA and other recognised undergraduate disciplines can apply, subject to the eligibility requirements of the chosen program. Management education at JAGSoM is designed for students from diverse academic starting points.
Yes. Work experience is not mandatory for either the PGDM or MBA. Fresh graduates as well as early-career professionals can apply.
No. JAGSoM does not require applicants to have prior full-time work experience for these programs. Relevant work experience, internships or projects may strengthen a candidate’s overall profile, but fresh graduates are eligible to apply.
The current JAGSoM Bengaluru PGDM admission process accepts CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and MAT scores.
JAGSoM does not evaluate applicants only on an entrance-test percentile. Entrance scores are considered along with academic readiness, communication, learning potential, solution orientation, value fit and relevant experience. Meeting an eligibility threshold does not automatically guarantee admission.
Applications are submitted online through JAGSoM’s website. Applicants select the relevant program, complete their profile, provide academic and entrance-test information and submit the required application fee, to start.
Eligible applicants are shortlisted for JAGSoM’s Admission Selection Process(ASP). The process evaluates more than entrance-test performance and is designed to understand the candidate’s academic readiness, communication, learning potential and suitability for management education.
