Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM), originally established as IFIM Business School in 1995, has a rich history of providing innovative and globally recognized business education. It was rebranded in 2020, to honour the renowned global scholar and thinker, Professor Jagdish Sheth.

JAGSoM is among the select 15 business schools in India that hold the prestigious AACSB accreditation and are featured in the QS Global Rankings.

About PGDM General

  • PGDM General is JAGSoM's premier and flagship program with a limited no. of seats and early closure of admission cycle.
  • It is an AICTE approved and deemed equivalent to MBA (by AIU) two-year, full-time, residential program.
  • PGDM General comprises of a target-industry focused Career Acceleration Program (CAP), and offers specializations in Digital Business & Analytics, Marketing, Finance and HR.

Fees & Scholarships (PGDM General)

  • The total cost for JAGSoM's premier flagship two-year, full-time, residential PGDM General is INR 16 lacs, which includes tuition fee, lodging and boarding expenses.
  • Merit-cum-means scholarships are offered to the deserving candidates.

Eligibility, Admission Criteria and Selection Process

  • Any candidate with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline with 50% or more marks is eligible to apply for the program.
  • Final year students may also apply, subject to them fulfilling the eligibility criteria by the time of batch commencement.
  • An eligible candidate is required to take any of the CAT 2024 / XAT 2025 / GMAT 2020 onwards, and score a minimum of 60 percentile (or equivalent), to be able to get shortlisted for the Admission Selection Process (ASP).

Admission Selection Process (ASP)

JAGSoM looks at innovation potential, solution orientation and value fit of the candidates, besides their consistent academic performance and relevant work experience (if applicable), for adm ission into its PGDM General program. Short-listed candidates for programs at JAGSoM are required to appear for the selection process, which comprises of the following components:

Group Discussion (GD)
  • A 30-minute group discussion in groups of six to eight candidates, for assessing 'business education suitability' of the candidates.
Personal Interview (Pl)
  • A personal interview for assessing the 'Learning Potential' and 'Value Fit' of the candidate. The interview panel will have 3 panelists (l Faculty Member, l Industry Expert, l Alumni).

What are the PGDM Major offered by JAGSoM?

JAGSoM offers 4 Majors in PGDM :

PGDM (Marketing Major), PGDM Analytics and digital Business and PGDM (Finance Major) featured in QS Global rankings. Global ranking 101+ Marketing and Analytics 151+ Finance Band. These programs are targeted to groom professionals who are domain specialists and at the same time, can appreciate the interplay of various functions of management. This is a win-win for both the students and recruiters.

We will be conducting the entire selection process over virtual mode. The process would comprise or 3 rounds i.e. Innovation Potential Test, Group Exercise, & Personal Interview. It’s a rolling process. The results will be announced within 2 days of the process. Hence it is important to accept the offer early to avoid losing your admission.

Post selection process the seat needs to be blocked within the stipulated time as mentioned in your offer letter.

The program fee needs to be cleared as per the fee schedule. The registration fees needs to be paid immediately on acceptance of the offer.

JAGSoM offers merit scholarships in the form of tuition fee waiver. The scholarship would be adjusted in the last payable installment as per the fees schedule.

JAGMAT is an aptitude test and comprises of 3 sections, which are English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Logical Reasoning (LR). Each section will be of 25 marks summing to 75 marks. There will not be any negative marking. Duration of the test will be 90 minutes.

The cut-off for JAGMAT exam is 50% to secure an early admission at JAGSoM.
